Conditions stories (version 13 April 2009):
- length 300-1000 words on average
- the story has to take place in Singapore
- the editors have the right to delete the story from this site without notification
- we do not guarantee that your story will be placed on this site
- when we feature your story we will notify you at least 24 hours before publishing
- no harmful or hurtful content for individuals other than yourself!
- always use fake names of people featuring in your story
- owners of this site cannot be held responsible an/or liable for the content of the stories
- you have to be at least 18 years old to participate
- you can add your own picture (jpg 295-250px)
- you can choose what author name you want to use. Alternatively you can choose to stay anonymous
- you have to give us your name and contact details even if you choose to write anonymous. We need your details to notify you when we want to publish your story
- if you don’t agree with our conditions we cannot place your story
- owners of this site can change the conditions at any time, the changes will be made public only through this site
- by sending your story you agree that your story might be used in future media under the name Singapore Treasures
- all entries must be entirely original works. By submitting a story, you warrant that the work submitted is entirely your own. Any adaptations or
plagiarism will be disqualified. In addition, as submitted works may be published, submitters found guilty of intellectual property infringement may be subjected to legal action by Singapore Treasures and/or any entity, local or overseas, whose intellectual property has suffered infringement. In submitting a story, the
submitter indemnifies the Singapore Treasures, publisher, printers, distributors and retailers of any published entries from any legal liabilities whatsoever that may arise from the said submission.
- copyright and all related rights of the literary works submitted as entries are deemed to have been assigned unconditionally to Singapore Treasures/ Vanderlaan Consultancy, in all regions and territories of the world. Singapore Treasures shall edit the entries for the purpose of publication as it deems fit. Singapore Treasures / Vanderlaan Consultancy shall also have full liberty over the re-assignment of copyright and all related rights of the entries to any third party/parties. No royalties or author fees are payable for the copyright of published entries unless otherwise contracted.
